Dr. Lydiah Nyaguthii Wambugu is a seasoned educationists who holds a PhD in Education (Research and Evaluation), Master of Education (Curriculum Studies) and Bachelor of Education (Science). She is an author and has published widely in reputable journals.

Dr. Wambugu is a senior lecturer at the university of Nairobi, Kenya where she teaches Research Methods and Monitoring and Evaluation to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She also trains on SPSS and M&E. She has authored a book in Research Methods. In her many years of teaching at the university, Dr. Wambugu has noted that Research Methods is one of the units that students find abstract because they are not able to link theory and practice. That is why she desires to share her knowledge in research in a simple, consistent and interactive manner.
