The purpose of this course is to equip you with knowledge and skills on Quantitative Data Analysis and to develop your ability to manipulate IBM SPSS Statistics software. In addition, this course will enable you analyze quantitative data using IBM SPSS Statistics software and make meaningful inferences from the SPSS output.

This module will take you through:, Scales of Measurement, Types of Data and Hypotheses Testing:  types of hypotheses and types of statistical tests.

In this module, you shall be taken through the structure of IBM SPSS Statistics Software, methods of defining variables and methods of entering data;

2 Power Point Slides + 4 Audio Video = 3 hours read

This module will explain all the relevant descriptive statistics, demonstrate how to run descriptive statistics on SPSS and how to interpret descriptive statistics SPSS output. The descriptive statistics discussed are Tabular Analysis, Graphical Analysis, Measures of Central Tendency and Measures of Variability

6 Power Point Slides + 10 Audio Videos = 8 hrs read

This module will explain all the relevant inferential statistics, demonstrate how to run inferential statistics on SPSS and how to interpret inferential statistics SPSS output. The inferential statistics discussed are both parametric and non-parametric tests. Of special mention are Correlation (Pearson & Spearman), Regression and Comparison tests (t-test, F-test, Kruskal-Wallis, Mann-Whitney) etc.

This module will discuss how to enter Likert Scale data, how to transform Likert scale data and how to analyze and interpret Likert scale data

This module will help you define variables from an open ended questionnaire, enter the same data and conduct analysis

This module is will take you through how to conduct reliability test of quantitative instruments
